Research Use Only · Not for Human Consumption
Selank is a synthetic heptapeptide developed by the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Russian Academy of Sciences. It is a modified analog of tuftsin (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg), an endogenous tetrapeptide fragment of IgG. Selank has been studied for its anxiolytic effects in preclinical models through mechanisms involving GABA-A receptor modulation and BDNF regulation. It is noted for not producing sedation or dependence in research models.
